Metering offers superior accuracy,
with a unique versatile seeding
method to maximize your crop yields.
Our unique metering system ensures
equal accuracy from the time your
material is metered from the hopper
to the seeding boots. Our system
works so effectively because of its
precise individual gate to airline
delivery by a simple method of
removing a nylon mat. Grain,
fertilizer and grass seeds can be
redirected to provide variable
blending combinations or alternate
seed and fertilizer placements,
providing you with the flexibility
to choose a seeding combination that
suits your seeding application. Rice
Models: All models can be optioned
with our world first wing cut-off
system. Using the RFM Rice monitor
and an electric clutch, and
re-directing air lines the machine
can be reduced to either 40% or 50%.
Thereby minimizing oversow in rice
bays or headlands. |

The "engine room" of any airseeding
system is the metering system. RFM
has invested many years of
development, a wealth of seeding
experience, global knowledge, and
the latest technology into its AVM -
Advanced Venturi Metering System.
The RFM AVM system is a precision
system designed to optimize grain
and fertilizer accuracy in crop
management applications programs
under the most demanding equirements
of today's seeding programs. The RFM
AVM delivers the efficiencies and
accuracy gains RFM owners have come
to expect and more.
The AVM single polyurethane roller
system is the most versatile and
practical to adapt and deliver most
grain and fertilizers with infinite
precision with RFM's patented
metering gate. The unique quick
change gate and mat system allows
the versatility to re-direct grain
and fertilizers from single
shooting, double or blending and
triple banding. It provides the
operator with many advantages over
traditional conventional airseeders.
With the inclusion of the Polyjet
Venturi, RFM's AVM system gives
constant airflow to each individual
material line allowing a more gentle
and accurate material distribution
than its competitors. Combine with
this the quick release calibration
door and polyurethane jets, this
system is much simpler than any of
its competitors.
Ease of operation is a key feature
with all RFM airseeders and the DX
range of aircarts and MDX series are
standard with variable rate electric
drive controller, which is fitted to
a variable seed rate controller. A
simple touch of a switch allows
seeding rates to be adjusted to
maximise yields. The KEE Eagle seed
rate controller includes bin sensors
and provides a material usage
readout from each bin and we also
place sensors on the metering roller
shafts which ensures operator peace
of mind.
The unique 175cm diameter
polyurethane roller delivers grains
and fertilizers efficiently. At a
maximum twelve revolutions per
minute enables the highest standard
of accuracy. This unique system
allows us to keep the calibration
simple and reliable, with one roller
design that can meter from small
grass seeds to the largest broad
beans. he RFM AVM metering process
