RFM broke new
ground when it introduced the first
low cost compact airseeder to the
market. The Colt was designed for
the smaller landholder, or lower
horsepower tractor owner. It is a
great model for the combine drill
owner who is looking to make the
change to an airseeder.
The Colt 3000 series offers
exceptional features and while the
traditional RFM AVM metering system
remains the same, there has been
plenty of innovation in other areas
whilst still sharing a number of
proven design elements of the
original Ryan airdrills. Models
range from 14'
to 24'
with a 9'
centre section. The 3 row design has
all the ability of the other RFM
airseeder models and is available in
7", 8",
9", 10"
or 12"
spacing. The flotation tyres are on
2 metre wheel centres which makes
this machine ideal for raised beds
also.
The Colt comes standard with a 3000
litre hopper in a world first, the
small seeds box is built in and
comes complete with an increment
calibration control. The Colt can
also be optioned to include deep
banding or blending.
Essentially the Colt is a simpler,
smaller machine with all the
capabilities of the larger and more
traditional airseeders however at a
more economical price. |
